Privacy notice

The hotel matcher sends your destination, dates, adult count, currency, budget ceiling and sort preference through StayMatch’s server to Agoda. Without both travel dates, or if the provider cannot be reached, the matcher instead compares the stored directory sample; no availability, current rate or budget filtering is implied. No name, email address, payment information or user account is requested. Matching preferences are not saved in browser storage.

Sessions and temporary caching

A necessary session cookie protects the search endpoint and limits repeated requests. If the hosting provider’s default file-session store is unavailable, the application uses a private temporary session folder outside the website. Search responses may be cached for up to 60 seconds to reduce repeat provider calls; expired cached responses are removed during subsequent searches. Search results are not maintained as a traveler profile. Dated hotel-directory snapshots contain provider property facts rather than individual traveler searches.

External services

Agoda receives the trip search and the details included in an offer link. Google Maps receives hotel coordinates when you open a map. Agoda-hosted photos load from Agoda’s image service. These services receive technical request information and apply their own privacy policies. Landmark coordinates are collected from OpenStreetMap during editorial preparation, not in response to each visitor’s search.

Measurement

The application emits search, comparison and outbound-click events in your browser. Event payloads contain destination, hotel ID, result count or rank; they exclude travel dates, guest counts, child ages, budget, names and contact details. No third-party analytics collector is installed. Adding one requires reviewing its privacy and consent requirements and updating this notice.

Hosting

The hosting provider may keep technical access logs and session files under its own retention settings. This notice describes the supplied application. The operator must review additional hosting services or scripts when configuring the live site.
